
Process Technician

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Process Technician to join their injection molding team at a new facility in Snow Hill. This role will focus on process development and control, mold changes and startups, troubleshooting, and driving improvements in cycle time, cavitation, and scrap reduction. The ideal candidate brings hands-on injection molding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a sharp eye for part quality.
Process Technician Responsibilities
Execute the production schedule including mold changes, material changes, and startups
Develop, document, and monitor injection molding processes and quality parameters
Troubleshoot process issues and ensure part conformance and quality
Lead molding improvements targeting cycle time, cavitation, and scrap reduction
Support new tooling qualifications, tool sampling, and technical training
Participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Process Technician Qualifications
Hands-on experience setting up molds and processing in injection molding
Mechanically inclined with a strong safety orientation
Ability to work with injection molding machines, robotics, dryers, hot runner controllers, and overhead cranes
Scientific molding certification is a plus
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
Must be able to stand, walk, and lift 50+ lbs in a manufacturing environment
