Senior Molding Technician
Seeking a hands-on Injection Molding Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain molding processes. This role will partner with engineering and production to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and establish injection molding processes for new and existing molds
Conduct mold trials, sampling, and pilot runs
Document processes, including scientific molding standards
Collaborate with engineering on new mold design and performance feedback
Recommend process improvements, automation, and equipment enhancements
Determine labor requirements and support cost reduction initiatives
Maintain process documentation, machine specs, and technical records
Train and support production teams on molding processes and best practices
Partner with leadership to evaluate and improve processing performance
Qualifications:
Strong experience in injection molding setup and processing
Knowledge of scientific molding principles
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
Experience with mold handling, storage, and injection molding equipment
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
Must provide own tools

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing setting
