A growing, entrepreneurial law firm is seeking a seasoned
Corporate M&A Partner
to join its expanding Business & Transactions practice. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated attorney with an established book of business to join a collaborative platform that supports growth, autonomy, and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage sophisticated mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
Structure and negotiate stock and asset purchase agreements
Advise clients on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Counsel private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and strategic buyers/sellers
Oversee due diligence, transaction structuring, and closing processes
Mentor associates and contribute to practice group growth
Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, finance, employment, and litigation teams
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in applicable jurisdiction
8+ years of substantive M&A and corporate transaction experience
Demonstrated portable book of business
Strong client relationships and repeat transactional work
Proven ability to independently originate, manage, and close deals
Business-minded, entrepreneurial approach to practice
