Job Description
The Head Golf Coach is responsible for various aspects of the Golf Program, such as recruiting within the school, scheduling opponents (in conjunction with the Athletic Director), training, and coaching team members. The Head Golf Coach is required to abide by the AIA/USGA rules and regulations, and the rules and regulations set by Kingman Unified School District.
Requirements
All head varsity coaches must have a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, Arizona Coaching Certificate, or have completed the National Federation of State High School Associations Level I Certification online within forty-five (45) days from date of hire.
Head coaches must be approved in accordance with the personnel policies of the school district and the Arizona Revised Statutes. Certification must be on file or recorded in the office of the principal or his/her designee. Any salary or remuneration shall be from the school district; no salary or remuneration for school coaching shall be from any outside source.
Work Authorization: Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from Arizona Department of Public Safety.
