Summer Sea Term: Maritime Engine & HVAC Instructor

SUNY Maritime College is seeking temporary personnel for classroom and lab instruction aboard the T.S. EMPIRE STATE during the summer training program. Instructors will provide hands-on training in Refrigeration, HVAC, and Electrical curricula to underclass engineers. Required qualifications include a background in mechanical/HVAC/Refrigeration, U.S. Passport, TWIC, and MMC. The position includes assistance with meals and possible travel reimbursements. The appointment spans from April 27, 2026, to July 20, 2026.
