
Helpline Coordinator (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) - Afternoon/Evening Shift

We are seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to join our Client’s Team as a
Helpline Coordinator , supporting a 24/7/365 behavioral health crisis and support line. This role is ideal for an experienced counselor who enjoys combining clinical work with leadership, crisis intervention, and collaboration across a health system.
As the Helpline Coordinator, you’ll serve as a clinical resource and lead for day-to-day Helpline operations while remaining hands‑on in providing telephonic crisis support. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure individuals in crisis are safely assessed, triaged, and connected to appropriate levels of care.
What You’ll Do
Provide telephonic crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessments using national standards
Support real‑time triage and coordination of crisis responses for individuals with behavioral health or substance use concerns
Serve as a clinical lead and resource for Helpline staff, offering guidance and consultation
Assist with onboarding, training, and implementation of new procedures and workflows
Collaborate with leadership and internal partners to promote quality, consistency, and operational excellence
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external community resources
Ensure high‑quality service delivery aligned with organizational standards and best practices
What They’re Looking For
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field
Active Indiana licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC
Ability to bill independently for clinical services
3‑5 years of experience as a licensed clinical therapist
Strong experience or interest in crisis intervention and suicide risk assessment
Comfort working in a fast‑paced, telephonic and team‑based environment
Experience with EMRs, Microsoft Office, and intake or triage processes preferred
