
Civil Engineer (PE or EIT)

CSD Engineering is seeking a licensed
PE license in NC
or an individual who has
passed their Engineer in Training (EIT)
exam with an expertise in
Water Resources .
Responsibilities & Duties
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians to establish project requirements and schedules
Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of infrastructure components.
Perform technical calculations.
Preparing permit submittals for civil engineering projects.
Corresponding with clients, regulatory agencies and architects.
Review and interpret civil engineering codes and standards to ensure compliance.
Prepare project documentation, reports, and technical drawings for client and regulatory review.
Provide support during the construction phase to resolve design-related issues and adapt plans as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Ideal candidates are either a
licensed Professional Engineer (NC)
or have an
Engineer in Training (EIT)
certification
Experience in
Water Resources
is a must
Advanced proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D, Hydraflow, and Autoturn.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to effectively manage time and multiple projects simultaneously.
Commitment to continued learning and development in the field of civil design.
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
