Job Description
Our Maintenance Technician works directly under the Theater Manager and is responsible for the general upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the building and its equipment. This is a part‑time, hands‑on position that requires technical knowledge across multiple areas, including arcade, bowling, plumbing, electrical, and facility operations.
Generally, work tasks and responsibilities will include:
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on bowling lanes, pinsetters, scoring systems, arcade games, and related equipment.
Assisting with general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and small repairs.
Supporting kitchen and bar areas with equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
Assisting with projection and audiovisual equipment maintenance as needed.
Conducting preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using manuals, tools, and vendor support when necessary.
Managing parts inventories, ordering supplies (as needed), and maintaining accurate service records.
Keeping maintenance areas organized, clean, and safe.
Working closely with the Theater Manager to prioritize and complete maintenance needs.
Assisting with maintaining accurate maintenance records, parts inventory, and supply orders.
Supporting other departments when repairs or technical assistance are needed.
Ensuring safety protocols are followed and communicating issues promptly to management.
Qualifications / Expectations
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
2+ years of experience in general maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or a related field. Bowling and arcade experience preferred.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multi‑meters, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and strong attention to detail.
Positive, customer‑focused attitude with a dedication to guest satisfaction.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
