A "Head Bowling Maintenance Technician" isresponsible for overseeing the upkeep and repair of all mechanical equipment within a bowling alley and arcade, including bowling lane machinery, pinsetters, ball return systems, arcade game machines, and related electronics, ensuring optimal functionality and player experience by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and managing a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance

Regularly inspect and service all bowling lane equipment (pinsetters, ball returns, lane conditioners, scoring systems).

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with arcade games.

Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize breakdowns.

Track inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs when necessary.

Team Management

Lead a team of bowling and arcade maintenance technicians.

Assign tasks and prioritize repairs based on urgency.

Train new technicians on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.

Compliance and Safety

Ensure adherence to all safety regulations regarding equipment maintenance and repair.

Monitor and address potential hazards in the bowling alley and arcade areas.

Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including knowledge of bowling lane machinery and some arcade game mechanics.

Troubleshooting Skills

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions.

Leadership Abilities

Experience managing a small team of technicians.
