Position Overview
Associate Specialist – Process Engineering Tech Transfer Team (Biologics Pilot Plant – BPP). Responsible for preparing and supporting execution of pilot‑scale GMP campaigns for bulk vaccine and biologics clinical supplies, including upstream and downstream unit operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform unit operations such as cell culture, virus production, microbial fermentation, tangential flow filtration, dead‑end filtration, homogenization, chromatography, etc.
Operate, clean, and sanitize equipment.
Prepare critical documentation including standard operating procedures.
Participate in equipment start‑up activities.
Maintain training compliance on GMP and safety initiatives.
Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences or related field.
Required Experience and Skills
Team collaboration skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Experience with GMP manufacturing of biologicals or vaccines and/or process development activities.
Knowledge of current GMP regulations.
Compensation
Salary range: $71,900.00 – $113,200.00 (depending on education, qualifications, experience, geographic location, etc.). Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive if applicable.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid model: three on‑site days per week (Monday–Thursday) and one remote day (Friday), except for positions requiring daily in‑person attendance such as field‑based, manufacturing, or research roles. Remote positions are not covered by this hybrid model.
