A growing semiconductor manufacturing operation in Albuquerque is seeking a
Maintenance Supervisor
to lead daily maintenance activities and support high-volume production. This role will oversee technicians, ensure equipment uptime, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Prioritize work orders, preventive maintenance, and repair schedules to minimize downtime
Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
Troubleshoot complex equipment issues across electrical, mechanical, and process systems
Partner with engineering and production teams to align maintenance with operational goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety standards, cleanroom protocols, and company policies
Manage contractor support and external vendors when needed
Track maintenance metrics and report on performance, uptime, and improvement efforts
Qualifications
7–10+ years of maintenance experience in a semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environment
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices
Experience with preventive maintenance systems and reliability programs
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Background
Experience in wafer fabrication, cleanroom environments, or similar high-tech manufacturing
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Technical degree or equivalent hands‑on experience
On‑site role within a semiconductor manufacturing facility
Exposure to cleanroom environments and standard PPE requirements
Physical activity may include standing, walking, and occasional lifting
