Responsibilities
We are hiring a controller who will be responsible for the financial management and reporting systems for the Kentucky League of Cities and its insurance services programs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the supervision of the accounting team.

Qualifications and Benefits

Thorough knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures and standards.

Preferred knowledge of insurance accounting and reporting requirements and procedures.

Ability to understand the regulations and laws governing property and casualty insurance.

Four-year degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting.

Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.

Minimum of five years’ experience in auditing or accounting with an emphasis on financial reporting.

Preferable one to three years of supervisory experience.

Thirteen paid holidays.
