Assigned Campus
REPORTS TO:
Principal
SUPERVISES:
None
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience preferred
Position Function/Purpose:
The office clerk shall carry out all office related activities as assigned by the building principal.
Essential Functions:
Basic typing
Alphabetize and file
Good telephone skills with the public
Work in a cooperative manner with coworkers and teachers
Maintain accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
Prepare accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
Check and verify student absences
Keep all attendance information, verify and complete each year
Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Cross train with secretary
Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Have or be eligible for state certification
Basic typing skills
Basic computer skills
Physical Demands:
Eye strain
Standing
Reaching above shoulders
Kneeling
Bending
Moderate lifting, 15-44 lbs.
Moderate carrying, 15-44 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular attendance required.
