**POSITION SUMMARY -*** Receive Freight and Non-Freight Vendor deliveries; includes unloading material, checking all documentation received from drivers (packing slips, bills of lading, etc.) and inspecting material for damages.* Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.* Deliver material to designated delivery point, ensuring that all receipts are signed for in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.* Supply MRO Supervisor with reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to include (but not limited to: Outbound shipments, stock-outs, deliveries, pickups, backorders, Good Receipts, and Pick Tickets.* Strict compliance with all Corporate, State and Federal guidelines in regards to all receipts, bills of lading and any other documents or document control procedures as required.* High School Diploma or GEDThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Basic mathematical skills to perform inventory control procedures.
Elementary knowledge of store room methods and procedures, shipment methods and the ability to keep simple receiving and shipping records.Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office & capable of updating computer generated inventories and documents, Enter purchase order receipts into computer system and print receiving tags.Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills and attention to detail/accuracy.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
