Job Description
The Aplington-Parkersburg High School and Middle School, located 30 minutes from the Cedar Valley, is looking for a compassionate, collaborative, and student-centered combination 9th and 6th Grade Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The successful candidate will work in a team-based environment to support students and families, in their quest to become the best version of themselves.
Position Summary
The teacher candidate will teach freshman Biology, Earth Science, and 3 sections of 6th‑grade science.
Required
Candidates must hold a current State of Iowa Teaching License. https://boee.iowa.gov
This position requires the following endorsements: 5-12 Basic Science 1541
Interested candidates should provide a resume, a letter of interest, 3 letters of recommendation, and a copy of your teaching certificate.
