We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Field Technician
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving in dynamic environments, and growing within a fast-evolving industry.
Role Overview
As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of low-voltage systems, networking infrastructure, and integrated technology solutions. You will work directly on-site with clients to deliver high-quality installations and ensure optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test
low-voltage cabling systems , including CAT-5e, CAT-6, and structured cabling
Perform
cable pulling and routing
in residential and commercial environments (attics, walls, conduits, etc.)
Set up and configure
wired and wireless networks (Wi-Fi systems, routers, switches, access points)
Install and integrate
security camera systems (CCTV/analog/IP cameras) , ensuring proper positioning and functionality
Install and configure
audio/visual systems , including speakers, projectors, and sound cabling
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to
network connectivity, hardware performance, and system integration
Conduct
system testing, quality checks, and performance validation
Interpret and execute based on
technical diagrams, blueprints, and project specifications
Ensure all installations meet
industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality expectations
Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams regarding project status and requirements
Required Qualifications
Hands-on minimum 2 years experience with
low-voltage cabling, networking, and system installations
Strong knowledge of
CAT-6 cabling, structured wiring, and cable management best practices
Familiarity with
networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routers, switches, Wi-Fi configuration)
Experience installing
security systems, cameras, speakers, or access control systems.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climbing ladders, crawling, lifting equipment)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong Communication Skills for interacting and collaborating with clients and teams
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
