Fincantieri Marine Group is hiring a Human Resources Representative at our Marinette, WI location.

Position Summary
The HR Representative will assist in delivering HR support to employees and leaders by acting as a trusted advisor, employee advocate and functional expert reflective of the HR Department goals and responsibilities. This position will assist with policy administration, labor relations, regulatory and legal compliance and other HR related duties as assigned in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Domestic travel may be required.
Essential Functions
Educate and assist managers and employees on HR policies, plans, programs, practices, processes, and tools (e.g., compensation, development, CBA, EEO) to ensure knowledge transfer and enhanced organizational capability related to the management and development of people
Communicate with all management/supervisor levels, union personnel, contractors, and on-site customer personnel; being open-minded and able to listen to the concerns of Human Resources customers
Routinely audit company employee files and employment law postings for accuracy and adherence to established guidelines and applicable federal and state laws
Assist in resolution of employment issues, labor law and employment law compliance related investigations
Assist with new employee onboarding and orientation tasks
Other duties as assigned
