Sleep Direct Support Professional

Position Overview
Sleep DSP positions are full‑time roles that enable you to support residents overnight while maintaining safety and a therapeutic environment. You will provide support during awake hours for daily living activities, health and personal management, and goal achievement.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision and support to residents during the designated overnight period.

Assist with daily living activities, health and personal management, and personal goal achievement.

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of residents.

Respond to resident needs promptly and appropriately during sleeping hours.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

One year of experience preferred; consideration for GED candidates enrolled in a program.

Valid NY driver’s license.

Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and sense of humor.

Strong passion for working with children and adults with special needs.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
