Job Summary
We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team, responsible for crafting innovative data-driven solutions. As part of this team, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders from multiple companies, harnessing diverse data sources to create impactful reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools. The ideal candidate will possess not only technical proficiency but also the ability to translate complex information into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gather, synthesize, and present data to generate comprehensive reports on client activity and performance.
Engage directly with stakeholders to understand and document their reporting and analysis needs.
Develop visually engaging BI visualizations and data products to facilitate decision-making.
Utilize both standard and ad hoc queries to extract data from disparate databases and sources.
Analyze data to construct dashboards, metrics, and insights, identifying trends and anomalies.
Offer creative alternatives and recommendations to enhance system performance and reduce costs, leveraging available tools and data.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align with business objectives.
Design, build, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support ongoing operations.
Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout its lifecycle.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications
1 year experience in Business Intelligence, reporting or related field
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and Excel
Experience performing data analytics for use in business decision-making
Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication, organizational and presentation skills
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Advanced SQL (Server Query Language) knowledge
Advanced experience with MS Power BI, Power Query, Excel
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, or other ETL processes
Works well in a team or independently and within tight deadlines
Prior staffing/recruiting experience a plus!
Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Travel
This role operates in a modern, hybrid work environment, utilizing technology such as laptops, video conferencing tools, cloud-based applications, and collaborative platforms. Flexibility for remote work is supported, while in-office settings may still involve the use of standard office equipment like computers, telephones, and printers.
The physical demands described here are representative of those required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While carrying out job duties, the employee must regularly be able to speak clearly and hear effectively to communicate with others. The role also frequently requires standing, walking, using hands for fine motor tasks, and reaching with arms.
