Long Range Planning Support Analyst, MCoE G3 - (2277)
Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Long Range Planning Support Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G-3 mission at Fort Benning, GA. The G-3 organization encompasses multi-functional services, with numerous locations across Fort Benning. Critical G-3 functions include:
Planning and scheduling: Air Operations; Ceremonies and special events; Staff Inspection Program; Long Range Planning Calendar and the Digital Training Management System.
Other Support: Strategic Analysis
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
Shall provide planning and training management support.
Shall attend Command quarterly guidance meetings, and prepare notes capturing command tasking, guidance, and comments for distribution.
Shall coordinate the date, time, and location for monthly G3/S3 meetings.
Draft memoranda of instruction affecting installation resources for review and approval of the Government.
Required Qualifications:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Strong communications skills (oral and written), ability to work cooperatively with military / civilian workforce.
Working knowledge / understanding of military protocol / chain of command.
Degree in General Business, Business/Technical Writing, Military Science, or English (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in oral and written communications.
Basic file management and organization ability.Knowledge of military (Army) operations and knowledge of military chain-of-command and basic protocol.
Former Senior NCO or Officer with similar experience as outlined in this announcement is preferred.
