Logistics Operations Supervisor

Your Contribution
As our Operations Supervisor, you will direct and manage materials management, warehousing, receiving, production scheduling, material planning and handling, packaging, inventory control and accuracy, cycle counting and customer/vendor interface. You will also be responsible to manage salaried employees in the Service department and carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.

Your Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; B.S. in Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable field preferred.

Ten or more years experience in Logistics in an Automotive or Heavy Duty Truck manufacturing facility preferred.

Two or more years experience with SAP required; this includes knowledge of SAP–MM (Materials Management), SAP-SD (Sales & Distribution), SAP-PP (Production Planning), and SAP-WM (Warehouse Management).

Proficiency in an MRP II system required.

Experience implementing and maintaining Kanban and “pull” inventory control methods.
