About the Position:
We are looking for a
DigITal SAP PP (Production Planning) Expert
to join the
DigiTal team , reporting directly to the
SAP Process Excellence and Service Delivery Manager.
This position is based at our office in
Bengaluru.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP PP and MRP modules to enhance plant operations and logistics efficiency.
Gather and analyze business requirements to develop solutions that align SAP PP and MRP functionalities with plant operational needs, logistics processes, and integration with local systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, DigITal, and local system stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and external manufacturing systems.
Customize and enhance SAP PP configurations to support production planning, demand management, capacity planning, and shop floor control, while ensuring compatibility with existing local and manufacturing systems.
Implement and manage MRP processes to improve material availability, scheduling and production efficiency within the plant and its extended systems.
Monitor production, logistics, and system integration processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize production planning and resource utilization.
Conduct and support user training and change management activities to facilitate the adoption of SAP PP and MRP solutions, with a focus on integrated systems.
Provide support and troubleshooting for PP, MRP and integration‑related issues, minimizing disruptions to plant operations, logistics and local manufacturing systems.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across SAP systems and local systems, with a focus on production and logistics‑related data.
Stay updated on the latest SAP PP and MRP developments and best practices, as well as advancements in local manufacturing systems, to recommend innovative solutions enhancing production and logistics processes.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Extensive experience with SAP PP and MRP modules in a complex plant operations and logistics environment, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
Proven experience integrating SAP PP and MRP with local systems and manufacturing systems.
Strong understanding of production planning processes, MRP and their integration with logistics operations and external systems.
Proven ability to work on SAP module integration, especially with SAP MM, SD, LE, QM and local manufacturing systems.
In‑depth understanding of plant operations, logistics processes and the technological landscape of local and manufacturing systems.
SAP certification in PP or related modules is preferred.
