
Desktop Supervisor

VRC Investigations currently has an opportunity in the Desktop Investigations Division for Desktop Supervisors . The primary responsibility of this position is quality assurance and assistance to assist the day-to‑day insurance fraud defense investigations and operational needs for multi‑state regions. This role is for a highly motivated individual who requires little supervision for daily activities and can maintain momentum and motivation. Work involves considerable computer skills, language skills, writing capabilities, and organization.
The successful candidate will have related experience in one or more of the follow areas:
Public Databases
Background Investigations
Social Media Investigations
Records Research
Preparing detailed investigative reports
Criminal Justice degree or related field preferred
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance for all desktop service lines
Review/Approve all credit card expenses
Quarterly audits of staff for bonus program
Assist and aid in departmental communication in reporting for all investigators on staff
Advising investigators on a case‑by‑case basis
Assistance/Coaching of all staff based on established performance metrics to ensure each investigator is meeting or exceeding the expectations
Complete one main service line each week to maintain reporting practices and processes which impact staff.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Microsoft Office Knowledge (1 year or more required)
Must pass a drug test and pre‑employment testing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be highly motivated and possess the ability to work under little supervision
Have a sense of urgency, meeting client due dates and company SLA’s
Meet individual and team performance standards while maintaining attendance and dependability
Upon hire, you must proficiently learn and utilize all electronic tools as required within the scope of this position to include the company’s IMS case tracking system

Compensation:
Accepted candidates will be paid a competitive hourly rate of $24 per hour. Employees are paid on a bi‑weekly basis.
