The Staff Pad is partnering with a growing, multi‑location distribution organization to identify a Branch Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations, drive efficiency, and develop high‑performing teams. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on safety, inventory accuracy, cost control, and overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop branch operations staff across warehouse, logistics, and support functions
Oversee daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and service excellence
Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and returns processes
Drive cost control initiatives and support budget management
Implement process improvements and operational best practices
Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards
Partner with leadership on strategic planning and performance optimization
Qualifications
8–10+ years of operations or branch leadership experience
Background in distribution, logistics, or inventory‑driven environments
Strong leadership, team development, and operational execution skills
Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and process improvement
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and operational reporting
Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, or regulatory compliance is a plus

Efficient returns and logistics processes
Improved cost management and operational performance
Strong team engagement and accountability
Travel up to 50% may be required
Combination of office and warehouse environment
