Compliance and Audit Department
ensures adherence to best practices in corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls, fostering trust and alignment with business partners. This is a full-time
position located in Fort Worth, TX. For certain positions, including this one, employees can work one day per week remotely. Our leaders also foster a culture where work life balance, which requires flexibility for when life happens, is important and respected.
Travel
is minimal, less than 10%.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate
activities related to standing up and running Compliance related projects from inception to closure.
Identify, monitor,
and
manage
project risks and issues in a timely and unbiased manner;
follow
governance standards for escalating to right levels at the right time.
Provide
transparent reporting and metrics on project health (scope and schedule), and
support
all communications related to project delivery process.
Mentor
and
support
delivery teams in your role as a Project Manager.
Support
and as appropriate projects from both a tactical and strategic perspective and manage interdependencies with an advanced understanding of business objectives and purpose of projects assigned.
Capture, publish
and
refresh
project records (as appropriate), such as key decisions and action items, meeting minutes, risks, and issues.

Daily work is conducted in an indoor office environment.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
Able to work now and in the future without BNSF’s assistance (whether monetary, through sponsorship, or otherwise) in obtaining, maintaining, or extending employment authorization (including H-1B, STEM OPT/CPT, or TN nonimmigrant status).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, RIM, and/or project delivery with direct accountability for scope, schedule, and quality.
Proven experience in project management processes and execution.
Experience influencing team members in a matrix organization, and ability to identify and resolve project risks and issues effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in utilizing productivity/collaboration tools (such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint).
Expertise with Project Tracking Software such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
Advanced understanding of business objectives and purpose of projects assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Compliance, Audit or Records Information Management.
Project Management Certification, Agile or Other (SAFe SSM, CSM, CAPM or similar).
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems integration, and vendor management.
Experience leading projects in application development, infrastructure implementations, and/or systems integration.
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems integration, and vendor management.
