we're currently recruiting on behalf of a
large, well-established main contractor
for an experienced
SHE Advisor
to support a strong pipeline of work across the Bristol region. With construction activity in the area continuing to grow, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and forward-thinking team delivering high-quality projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for driving Safety, Health & Environmental standards across multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance, best practice, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out site inspections, audits, and performance reviews
Ensure RAMS, COSHH registers, and SHE documentation are in place and compliant
Promote a positive SHE culture across site teams and the supply chain
Deliver toolbox talks, training, and site-based guidance
Work closely with site management to resolve non-conformances
Liaise with external bodies including the HSE
Support pre-construction and tender stages where required
Requirements
Proven experience in a SHE Advisor role within construction
NEBOSH Construction (essential)
Strong understanding of construction processes and high-risk activities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
