
Early Career Programs Recruiter

Copeland, a standalone company with 100+ years in the HVACR industry, is seeking a talented professional to join our global Talent Acquisition team as an Early Career Programs Recruiter. In this role, you will execute the full‑cycle recruiting activities that support Copeland’s early talent pipeline, including internships, apprenticeships and full‑time early career roles across engineering, operations, supply chain and business functions. You will focus on operational execution of early career recruiting, partnering closely with hiring managers and the University Relations and Early Career Programs Recruiting Lead to deliver high‑quality candidate pipelines and a seamless hiring experience. This includes managing requisitions, coordinating interview processes, sourcing candidates, and supporting campus engagement activities that increase Copeland’s brand with emerging talent. You will collaborate with the Early Career Programs Recruiting Lead and regional Talent Acquisition partners to support hiring needs and ensure a consistent, high‑quality recruiting process across programs. This position will be part of the global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence team and will report to the Early Careers Recruiting Lead. The role will be hybrid and based out of one of our US sites; preferably St. Louis, MO, or Sidney, OH.
As an Early Career Programs Recruiter, You Will
Perform full cycle recruiting efforts for internship, apprenticeship and entry‑level salaried rotational program roles across multiple functions including engineering, operations, supply chain, and business support roles.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their early talent needs and proactively identify candidate pipelines for current and future hiring.
Create and manage requisitions in Workday, post roles, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, extend offers and support hiring decisions in partnership with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition partners. Lead activities related to hiring, including communicating details on the pre‑employment screening process & first day.
Support centralized and multi‑term early career hiring cycles by coordinating candidate pipelines, event details, interview scheduling, and hiring workflows to ensure timely and efficient hiring outcomes.
Collaborate with the Early Careers Recruiting Lead to support university engagement strategies, campus outreach, and Copeland brand visibility.
Coordinate logistics and support execution of campus recruiting activities such as university career fairs, networking events, classroom presentations and virtual engagement sessions. This includes marketing, booth presentation, ambassador participation and post‑event follow‑up activities.
Maintain recruiting data and candidate tracking within Workday and other recruiting systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Be an expert in the usage of our HRIS (Workday) and proficient in utilizing recruiting platforms such as RippleMatch, Handshake and LinkedIn.
Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes, candidate communications and operational workflows to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
Experience managing recruiting workflows including requisition creation, candidate screening interviews, interview scheduling, and hiring processes within an Applicant Tracking System.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and hiring timelines simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers, recruiters and cross‑functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recruiting processes with accuracy and efficiency, and can prioritize effectively, multi‑task, identify and develop process improvements and deliver results.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Legal authorization to work in the United States, unrestricted for an unlimited period of time – sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally supporting high‑volume recruiting or early career hiring, including internships, apprenticeships, or entry‑level roles.
Experience coordinating campus recruiting events, career fairs, interview days, or high‑volume hiring processes, including scheduling, candidate communication, and event logistics.
Experience driving brand representation and marketing efforts to the early career talent segment.
Experience using Workday, RippleMatch, Handshake, MS Office, and social media.
Experience supporting program‑based or multi‑term hiring cycles, such as internship or rotational programs.
Experience working in a start‑up or rapidly evolving environment organization or supporting new builds and rolling out programs in the early career space.

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week.
