
Civil Litigation Attorney

We are partnered with a law firm in the area that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This position is ideal for an attorney with a strong civil litigation background, excellent research and writing skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities
Defend clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements
Advise clients on legal issues and guide them through all stages of the litigation process
Appear at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings as required
Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Strong knowledge of state civil procedure and litigation strategies
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Superior research and analytical abilitiesAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Client-focused approach to legal practice
