Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation Defense
Our client, a well-established civil defense law firm in Denver, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of civil litigation experience to join its team. The associate will work on a variety of civil defense matters, which may include general civil litigation, insurance defense, professional liability, and other commercial or employment-related disputes, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of civil litigation matters under the guidance of senior attorneys
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and correspondence
Take and defend depositions and assist with expert discovery
Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and trial preparation
Qualifications
