A growing national civil litigation defense firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team supporting the Concord, California office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who enjoy handling complex litigation matters while maintaining the flexibility of a remote-capable position.
Attorneys in this role will manage cases from inception through resolution and have the opportunity to work on a variety of defense matters while collaborating with an experienced litigation team.
Key Responsibilities
Handle matters in complex civil litigation matters. Insurance defense/personal injury litigation preferred.
Manage cases from initial evaluation through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Conduct depositions and attend hearings
Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
Maintain strong communication with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
Preferred Experience
2+ years of insurance defense/civil litigation experience
Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
