Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to handle cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a docket of personal injury cases from filing through final resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and integrate findings into case strategy
Oversee all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and taking/defending depositions
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to move matters forward
Evaluate case value and strategy; participate in settlement discussions and negotiations
Appear at mediations, hearings, and depositions as needed
Maintain accurate, timely updates within the firm's case management system
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active and in good standing with the Georgia Bar
3-5 years of personal injury litigation experience
Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
