Our Legal Team supports the energy and utility community through organizational members, non-member stakeholders, and government collaboration, providing, operating, and assuring research collaboration services for the full spectrum of energy sector research opportunities.
Job Duties
Provide LC&A support by assisting the CLM team in developing internal/customer‑facing reports and presentations for key areas including legal data transfer and analysis, procurement, and contracts.
Serve as a liaison between the LC&A and various departments seeking LC&A assistance and support.
Maintain LC&A legal operations email communications by monitoring email traffic, supporting NDAs, licenses, and related legal agreements as assigned; analyze issues, recommend potential solutions, and facilitate engagement between the appropriate personnel.
Create and/or maintain appropriate logs, databases, inventories, filing (hard or soft copy), and status reports/tracking while actively engaged in data process and transition to a new system.
Conduct research or data‑analysis tasks to support LC&A during transfer and coordination of the new enterprise digital system, as well as AI brainstorming activities for operational solutions on various initiatives.
Support go‑live and transitional efforts by facilitating communications between departmental functions leads, subcontractors, and LC&A.
Actively monitor LC&A schedules, key deliverable dates, and training and support itineraries to ensure the successful coordination of LC&A efforts for CLM and year‑end support coordination.
Document and oversee meeting information‑gathering activities, including recording and socializing, to ensure the accurate capture of key action items for the development of required deliverables within the LC&A team.
Required Qualifications
College/graduate students with a GPA of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale) pursuing a career involving legal data analytics and coordination with legal operations. Must be a U.S. citizen. Desired: participation in other campus/community leadership activities. Rising 2L/3L students will be given preference.
Hourly Rate
Undergraduate: $16–29 per hour
Masters: $27–33 per hour
Ph.D.: $31–36 per hour
These ranges are estimates; actual hourly rate may vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
