For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $101,600 - $152,400 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full‑time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Role Overview
The Project Manager is accountable for managing moderate‑size and complex project orders (customer, affiliate, recall, etc.) from start to finish so that they are completed on time and within budget. The position includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing customer projects, confirming customer requirements (drawings, specifications, job‑site requirements, bill of material alignment), and managing the complete project process from order preparation through manufacturing release, product shipment, post‑shipment support, and financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Ensure all Schneider Electric safety policies and requirements are met at any onsite project locations.

When requested, provide upfront sales support during project quotation and preparation phase to ensure specification compliance from an execution standpoint.

Takes ownership for validating the project’s statement of work and contract terms with the customer, becoming lead contact for the balance of the project order (Project Initiation).

Develops a project schedule and communicates with the customer to ensure expectations are being met, engaging directly with internal manufacturing facilities and third‑party vendors (Project Planning).

Monitors the execution of the customer’s project order, verifying execution through kick‑off meetings, communication to all parties, and exchange of technical requirements and project plan information; coordinates all Schneider Electric onsite activities including subcontracting (Project Executive).

Leads the monitor and control of the customer’s project performance through its lifecycle, including task completion verification, team monitoring, project update exchanges, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration (Monitor and Control Project Work).

Leads the close‑out of the customer’s project, including financial reconciliation, verification of job‑site equipment arrival, installation, start‑up, and training support completion (Project Close).

Compares, differentiates, and proposes alternate products/value engineering.

Solves problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationship.

Utilizes a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes, and terminology needed for effective project management.

Ensures each project is executed to meet or exceed the customer’s requirements while maintaining financial boundaries of cost and margin.

Communicates project risk (technical & financial) and mitigation plans once an issue is identified; accurately predicts financial performance for revenue recognition, including original forecast, change orders, and cost forecasts based on incurred costs and estimate to complete.

Utilizes and offers improvements to the project execution team’s standard process, documentation, and tools.

Qualifications

At least 3‑4 years of project management experience involving construction management, electrical power distribution equipment, or ASCO related experience.

In‑depth understanding of subcontractor management, project financials, and risk mitigation.

Technical knowledge of a variety of facility/building systems or IT infrastructure systems, including but not limited to medium‑voltage switchgear, diesel generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment and ASCO offers.

Experience leading and developing a project team to achieve improved results, measured through increased customer satisfaction and increased project profitability.

Experience supervising a technical staff on customer sites.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
