
Blending/Quality Technician

Job Title: Blending/Quality Technician
The Blending Technician plays a critical role in ensuring product integrity and compliance with customer requirements. This position supports both internal operations and customer-facing initiatives through rigorous testing, documentation, and collaboration with technical and sales teams.
Responsibilities
Batch, mix, and blend products per specifications for customer orders.
Measure, weigh, and load raw materials into machines.
Monitor mixtures for consistency and viscosity.
Provide support for manufacturing areas.
Execute various panel tests for corrosion resistance and coating performance.
Prepare internal lab samples.
Maintain inventory of retained samples and manage rotation schedules.
Generate Certificates of Analysis and maintain accurate records of all testing activities.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal SOPs.
Assist chemists and technical staff with special projects under the direction of leadership.
Provide technical support for sales initiatives and customer projects.
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in quality control, laboratory work, blending, and mixing.
Experience in quality assurance, QC, analysis, quality inspection, and quality check.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
1‑3 years of experience in a GMP environment.
Experience with blending, mixing, or other related manufacturing preferred.
Work Environment
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment with metal‑working fluids, lubricants, coolants, etc. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. A new facility is being renovated, featuring a new laboratory and production environment. The team is small, allowing for independent work after training.

Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington, IN.
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour.
