Job Summary
Material Handler, SPS (Small Parcel Shipment) Processor Associate. Responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, stacking, and shipping product. Also count and inspect product, notify leadership of damages or discrepancies. Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Must comply with company and site‑specific policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Shipping Responsibilities:
Process orders efficiently using WMS and manually through Ship Smart/FedShip.
Picking Responsibilities:
Use pallet jack to pick orders accurately; stage, stack, package, band, shrink-wrap, and label products as per client requirements.
Quality Control Responsibilities:
Verify products and/or orders meet quality standards, report damages or discrepancies, and follow SOPs for packaging and labeling.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
Execute all safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and orderliness, assist in warehouse security, and comply with all policies, safety rules and OSHA/SDS standards.
Equipment Operation:
Operate equipment such as pallet jack; maintain equipment, report problems, follow work methods, and assist in maintenance as assigned.
Other Duties:
Perform additional duties as required and work overtime as dictated by business.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Other: Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures (mild to moderate).
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills, basic Windows, email, RF scanners, WMS functions.
Language Skills:
English (reading, writing, verbal).
Mathematical Skills:
Basic to intermediate level for inventory counts and quantity verification.
Other:
Strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, adaptability to change, fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months experience in warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
Current or prior MHE certification.
Physical Demands
Occasionally handling/fingering, sitting; Frequently bending; Constantly walking and standing. Must lift/carry/push/pull 21‑50 pounds and reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Work Environment
Low to moderate noise level; rarely exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

Compensation
Expected base pay range: $17.50 – $19.87 per hour. Actual compensation determined based on experience, skills, education and location.
