POSITION SUMMARY
The SPS (Small Parcel Shipment) Processor Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, stacking, and shipping product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and are expected to perform all duties as assigned. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality and to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping Responsibilities
Associate must efficiently process orders using the WMS system and manually process orders through Ship Smart/FedShip.
Picking Responsibilities
The picking functions include, but are not limited to, using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Associates must efficiently and accurately pick products, stage them in the appropriate areas, stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions are processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Quality Control Responsibilities
Quality control functions include, for example, using appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly. Associates verify that products and orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies, and then stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products as defined by SOPs.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance
All Associates execute all safety protocols and perform job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
Associates maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in security of the warehouse.
Associates comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards.
Equipment Operation
Equipment used can include, but is not limited to, a pallet jack.
Associates are responsible for the upkeep of equipment and reporting equipment problems.
All equipment is operated safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
Maintenance
Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES
Perform other duties as required.
Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Must have a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
None
Other
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Language Skills
English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Other
Strong attention to detail and timely completion of tasks.
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
Adaptability to change and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
Current or prior MHE certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Occasionally: handling/fingering, sitting.
Frequently: bending.
Constantly: walking and standing.
Ability to lift/carry and push/pull: 21‑50 pounds.
Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employees rarely are exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.

COMPENSATION
For this position, the expected base pay range is $17.50 – $19.87 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
