Garage Door Technician/ Installer

MM Garage Door Repair & Installation is looking for a dependable, hardworking part‑time technician to assist with garage door installations, repairs, and customer service. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working independently and providing quality service to customers. Experience not required. On‑job training will be provided.
Responsibilities

Install residential garage doors and openers
Diagnose and repair garage door issues (springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, etc.)
Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
Communicate clearly with customers about issues and solutions
Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintaining job site organization
Represent the company professionally on all job sites
Sell or recommend services when appropriate
Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude (construction, automotive, or similar experience preferred)
Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and reliability (show up on time, ready to work)
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and problem‑solve in the field
Experience using power tools & hand tools
Preferred (Not Required)

Experience with garage door installation or repair
Sales experience or comfort recommending services
