What You Will Do
Read drawings, take measurements, and draw isometrics for efficient piping installation.
Use basic blueprint knowledge to prepare and fabricate components.
Bolt, clamp, and tack‑weld parts to secure positions prior to welding.
Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materials.
Position and clamp fabricated metal products to prepare for welding.
Apply skilled knowledge of pipe fittings, bolts, valves, and related hardware.
Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints accurately.
Manually handle and apply rigging equipment securely.
Perform small‑area welding to client requirements.
Operate tools and equipment including beveling machines, cut‑off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, welding machines, and a Saw‑Zall.

Physical Demands
Work in outdoor weather and environmental conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, cold, and high elevations.
Lift and carry objects up to 60 lbs.
Stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours per day.
Use arms, legs, and overall body to move, balance, walk, lift, and perform repetitive motions.
Work on elevated platforms and narrow structures while wearing an approved full‑body harness and lanyard.
Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and tools.
Qualifications
At least 1.5 years of experience as a pipefitter.
Travel required; willingness to work extended periods away from home in remote areas.
Willing and able to work shifts of up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Must meet all physical demands of the job.
Willing to attend mandatory safety meetings.
Act as a safety role model.
What Will Put You Ahead
Previous experience in a gas plant construction environment.
Three years of experience as a pipefitter.
Leadership experience in safety roles.
Familiarity with welding basics.
