The Treasury Operations Manager reports to the Treasury & Financing Risk Senior Director and is responsible for managing key global treasury operations with a focus on foreign currency risk exposure, cash management in emerging markets, vendor payment optimization, and safeguarding company cash assets. This role partners extensively across Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, IT, Legal, and regional LATAM teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and secure cash and banking operations. The position plays a critical role in strengthening internal controls, supporting SOX compliance, and advancing scalable treasury processes in complex, global environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage exposure to foreign currency risk, including hedging if necessary. Develop cash management processes in emerging markets.
Develop and maintain key relationships internally and externally with the appropriate business partners (Banking, Discount Program Vendor, AP, Accounting, Dealer Services, and IT) to ensure efficient and effective finance/cash operations.
Manage the vendor early payment program through collaboration with internal business partners and key vendor (AP, Supply Chain, IT). Oversee the escheatment process.
Monitor compliance with related internal controls and SOX controls and general company compliance following industry best practice to protect bank accounts and cash assets from fraudulent activity.
Manage separate internal relationships with the LATAM team for the cash management process (Accounting/AP, Legal, Tax, etc.). Includes parallel system management to streamline business processes and security levels.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Finance required; advanced degree such as CPA or MBA preferred.
Five (5) years of experience in Accounting, Finance or industry experience required. Seven (7) years of relatable experience is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
High level of proficiency in MS Office applications is required, with priority on Excel.
