Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator in Franklin, Indiana — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay & Schedules
Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
Overtime Pay $30.00 per hour
Schedules: First Shift Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:30pm or 9:00am‑6:30pm
Warehouse Details
Products Being Handled: HVAC Products
Equipment: Stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, order pickers, walkie riders

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid forklift operator's license certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a diverse work environment
Highly thorough and dependable
Must be punctual and have good attendance record
Performs work independently with minimal supervision
Possesses a high degree of initiative
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to work using health and safety methods
Must be available to work flexible schedule on various shifts
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading trucks
Responsible for day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours of production
Perform other duties as assigned
