Job Summary
Johnson Truck Center, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, is hiring a B level Diesel Mechanic / Technician at our location in Manassas, Virginia. The candidate must have prior experience as a technician. We are a distributor/dealer for major brands such as Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Autocar, and Battle Motors, among others. Compensation
Technicians typically earn between $25–$45 per hour based on skill level and performance. Top performers may exceed this range based on productivity and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled tasks in diagnosing malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs promptly to address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns.
Commit to safety and maintain a clean work environment.
Maintain open communication with the management team regarding job status, updates, and changes.

Physical Requirements
Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required. The technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision, effective communication, and the ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors are essential. The role may involve working in temperature or humidity extremes.
