Certified Payroll Specialist - West Valley!

Job Description
Vaco Phoenix is working with an amazing company in the West Valley who is looking to add a Construction Payroll Specialist to their growing team. This position requires certified payroll experience and job costing experience. It is a direct hire position that is fully on-site in West Phoenix, paying up to $31 per hour.
Responsibilities
Run payroll for all employees (verify commissions, bi-weekly pay/hours, deductions, taxes, etc.)
Code employees correctly
Remit tax payments to appropriate entities
File tax forms pertaining to payroll
Create spreadsheet for review by Controller/CFO for approval of bi-weekly payroll
Print checks and deliver to employees
Obtain approvals for pay increases, bonus payout, commissions, etc.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in construction payroll
Proven expertise in certified payroll reporting (Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage compliance, etc.)
Familiar with multi-state payroll and job costing
Experience with federal, state, and local wage laws
