
Senior Manager Infrastructure

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Manager to lead and oversee the hospital’s end‑to‑end network and connectivity environment in a mission‑critical healthcare setting. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and high‑availability network operations that directly support patient care, clinical systems, and hospital operations.
The ideal candidate brings strong Cisco networking expertise, proven healthcare IT experience, and the ability to lead multiple technical teams within a structured ITIL operating model.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Network Ownership
Own the day‑to‑day functionality, stability, and performance of the hospital network
Serve as the single point of accountability for all network‑related operations and escalations
Oversee network connectivity across all layers including
Physical cabling infrastructure throughout hospital facilities
End‑user and device connectivity
Clinical system access (e.g., imaging, diagnostics, patient systems)
Firewalls, routers, VPNs
Point‑to‑point and external network connectivity
Leadership & Team Management
Lead a department of 18-20 team members across multiple disciplines, including:
Network Manager (incident triage and network escalation)
Telecom Administrators and Technicians: (PBX systems, Internal phones and pagers)
Telecom Operations Team: Hospital Operators responsible for inbound call handling and routing - team of 9 operators supporting 3–4 rotating shifts
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support across teams
Ensure clear ownership, accountability, and performance across all functions
Process & Operations
Operate within clearly defined ITIL guardrails and swim lanes
Ensure teams follow established escalation paths, change control, and incident management processes
Maintain strict boundaries between infrastructure, network, desktop, and telecom responsibilities
Support a 24/7 healthcare environment requiring high availability and rapid incident response
Required Qualifications
CCNP strongly preferred, with demonstrated hands‑on professional experience
Strong Cisco networking background, including experience with:
Healthcare or hospital IT experience required
Proven experience managing enterprise network environments in a Cisco‑centric organization
Prior experience leading technical teams in a production, high‑availability environmentStructured ITIL operating model with clearly defined responsibilities
Mission‑critical infrastructure supporting clinical and patient‑care operations
