
Part-Time Maintenance Technician
RTI/Community Management Associates, Inc. "CMA", Dallas, TX, United States
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall appearance of our community’s common areas. This role works closely with the Concierge team and Association Manager to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across all common areas (lobby, gym, pool, garage, etc.)
Complete minor repairs including painting, plumbing, and electrical work
Maintain equipment, lighting, water features, and pool systems
Coordinate cleaning, landscaping, and vendor services
Monitor property conditions and report issues, including vandalism or major repairs
Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and chemicals in compliance with safety standards
Assist with waste management and occasional hauling
Communicate maintenance updates and provide reports to management
Respond to after‑hours maintenance emergencies as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and pool systems
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred
Certifications related to electrical, plumbing, or pool operations
Experience with pumps, lighting systems, and water features
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working outdoors and using ladders
