Job Overview
As an Amazon Quick Ship Warehouse Associate, you’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working at the core of Amazon’s fastest delivery operation. You'll work in a retail warehouse environment, similar in size to a grocery store, where customers can order groceries and everyday essentials for ultra-fast delivery. You'll work alongside team members and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. The environment includes room temperature spaces, with reach-in refrigeration and freezer spaces. We will provide appropriate safety gear for all work areas.

Please Note
This role requires flexibility to work at different Quick Ship Warehouse locations near your primary work location. You will need to pick up shifts at any of the available locations to meet the required minimum of four hours per week. Available shifts vary by location and are based on customer demand.

Basic Job Requirements

Be 18 years or older

Understand and follow instructions in English

Lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach for up to five hours during shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation

Work in room temperatures, with reach-in refrigerators (35°F-40°F) and freezers (below 32°F)

Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around

Go up and down stairs (where applicable)

Handle a variety of products including everyday essentials, as well as groceries (produce, alcohol, and meat—including prepackaged pork and seafood)

Be flexible to work at various locations within a 20-mile radius from the primary site based on operational needs and shift availability.

Prepare customer orders for quick delivery

Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy

Use smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders

Receive and process truck deliveries

Stock shelves and manage inventory

Process customer returns

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Collaborate with team members and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Safety.

Equipment.

You'll be working in a retail warehouse environment with various equipment – shopping carts, pallet jacks, stock dollies, and a variety of products, including food and alcoholic beverages. You'll also interact with our digital shopping technology.

Physical Activity.

Work involves frequent movement between different areas, standing while conducting most tasks, and some lifting. You may need to reach into coolers or freezers.

Work Conditions

Temperature.

The warehouse is climate-controlled, but you may experience temperature changes when working with the reach-in refrigerated and freezer areas.

Noise level.

It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.

Dress code.

Relaxed and comfortable. Closed-toe shoes required. Protective safety footwear required in select areas.
