HOURS: 7:30 - 5:30 M-F, varied

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist lead teacher with curriculum planning to include the development of lesson plans, classroom arrangement, and enhancement of the classroom.
Supervise the classroom and direct classroom activities.
Facilitate a variety of learning experiences where children can manipulate and explore a variety of materials and experience success.
Gather necessary supplies and materials ahead of time.
Guide children in the proper care of materials.
Acts as a positive role model.
Observe and record children’s behavior as directed.
Promote children’s learning by supporting children’s ideas and progressive skill development.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
HS diploma
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
An Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with one year full time experience in a NAEYC accredited program.
