Sunset Hills Campus - St Louis, MO 63127## DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate Early Childhood Assistant Teacher who is passionate about supporting children’s development while sharing faith, love, and values each day.The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role helps implement daily activities, supervises children, and promotes their social, emotional, and developmental growth.**Key Responsibilities:*** Assist the Lead Teacher with lesson plans and classroom activities* Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times* Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom* Support children’s social and emotional development* Observe and report children’s progress and behavior* Prepare materials and set up learning centers* Communicate respectfully with children, staff, and families* Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations## Qualifications**Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred)* Experience working with young children is a plus* Basic understanding of child development**Skills:*** Patience and a positive attitude* Strong teamwork and communication skills* Reliability and flexibility* Ability to engage young children in learning and play
