Key Responsibilities
Discovery Management: Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests with precision.
Legal Document Preparation: Prepare and respond to motions and legal memoranda, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
Background Investigations: Conduct comprehensive background checks to support case development.
Client and Witness Coordination: Organize and manage meetings with clients, attorneys, and expert witnesses.
In-Depth Legal Research: Perform detailed legal research to support case strategies.
Medical Review: Analyze and review medical records to build strong cases.
Case Analysis: Write clear and concise case analyses and reports for clients.
Qualifications
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
Bar Admission: Admission to the Missouri Bar is required; Illinois Bar admission is preferred but not required.
Legal Writing and Presentation: Proven ability to write and present well‑reasoned legal arguments.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self‑Motivated: A self‑starter who takes ownership of tasks and drives them to completion.
Caseload Management: Ability to manage and prioritize a complex caseload effectively.
Team Player: An effective team player with a collaborative approach.
Work Ethic: Strong commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
