Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, mainframe SAS migration, Python, and Java UI integration and a proven ability to convert and modernize legacy SAS processes into performant Oracle‑based solutions.
Responsibilities
Convert and migrate legacy Mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Analyze existing SAS workflows and redesign logic for Oracle‑based execution.
Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of Oracle‑based solutions.
Build and enhance a Java‑based UI for ongoing process maintenance.
Develop Python utilities for automation, data processing, and migration.
Collaborate with the technology manager for reporting, planning, and delivery oversight.
Use JIRA for task tracking within Agile or hybrid workflows.
Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative delivery‑focused environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
Hands‑on experience with Mainframe SAS and migration of SAS logic.
Working proficiency with Python for automation and data handling.
Experience supporting or integrating with Java‑based applications.
Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow tools.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and meet timelines.
Proven teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Consistent delivery of high‑quality technical outcomes.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to COBOL on mainframe.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments.
