$18.30/hr with $1.50/hr shift differential

Position Summary
The Warehouse Order Picker manages pick ticket orders from warehouse staff and management, pulls inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of warehouse products, packs orders (including shrink‑wrapping onto pallets), and stages loads for forklift operators to load trucks for delivery. The role also maintains accurate records of inventory to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage pick ticket orders
Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
Ensure that orders are accurate
Stage items correctly for delivery and load delivery vehicles as necessary
Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
Plan and monitor product storage and dispatch
Oversee stock replenishment
Monitor stock control systems and processes specific to orders
Ensure warehouse goals are met
Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
Shrink wrap products to pallets and pack warehouse orders as necessary
Operate scanners to ensure that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Required Skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, busy environment
Physical Requirements
Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time; free range of motion
Wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment according to the function being performed
Required Education and Experience
At least one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment
High School Diploma not required
All candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check to be considered for employment
An understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work
